This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit lelamier.com (the “Site”) or make a purchase there.

Personal information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, your IP address, your time zone and some of the cookies installed on your device. In addition, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the web pages or products you view, the websites or search terms that brought you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • Cookies

    • _session_id: unique session identifier, allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page and so on).
    • _shopify_visit: no data held, persists for 30 minutes from the last visit. Used by our site provider's internal statistics tracker.
    • _shopify_uniq: no data held, expires at midnight (based on the visitor's location) the following day. Counts the number of visits to a shop by a single customer.
    • cart: unique identifier, persists for 2 weeks, stores information about your shopping cart.
    • _secure_session_id: unique session identifier.
    • storefront_digest: unique identifier, used to check whether the current visitor has access to the password-protected shop.
  • Log files: track activity on the Site and collect data such as your IP address, the browser you use, your internet service provider, your referring and exit pages, and your timestamps.
  • Web beacons, tags and pixels: electronic files that record information about how you browse the Site.

When you make or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information about you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment details (including your card numbers), email address and telephone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

When we use the term “Personal Information” in this Policy, we mean both Device Information and Order Information.

How do we use your personal information?

We use the Order Information to:

  • process your orders (payment, shipping, invoicing, confirmation);
  • communicate with you;
  • screen for potential fraud or risk;
  • provide you, in line with your preferences, with information or advertising about our products and services.

We use the Device Information (in particular your IP address) to:

  • detect potential fraud and risk;
  • improve and optimise our Site (browsing analytics, effectiveness of marketing campaigns and so on).

Sharing your personal information

We share your Personal Information with third parties who help us use it for the purposes described above.

SMS MARKETING AND NOTIFICATIONS

We run an SMS marketing programme that you can choose to join. If you opt in, the following terms apply:

  • Consent and collection: by signing up through our capture forms (pop-up) or at checkout, you give your express consent to receive automated marketing messages (promotional offers, cart reminders, news) at the phone number provided. Consent for SMS is strictly separate from your consent for email marketing and is in no way a condition of making a purchase.
  • How cart reminders work: our shop uses cookies and trackers to follow the items you place in your cart. If you have opted in to SMS marketing, this browsing data allows us to send you personalised reminders if you have not completed your order.
  • How to unsubscribe: you can unsubscribe at any time, free of charge on our side:
    1. by simply replying STOP to any SMS you receive;
    2. by clicking the unsubscribe link at the end of each message. Once the keyword “STOP” has been sent, you will receive one last message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will no longer receive marketing SMS, unless you choose to sign up again.
  • Carrier charges: although this service is free on our side, standard message and data rates may be charged by your mobile operator depending on your plan.
  • Data protection: your phone details are processed in accordance with the GDPR and French data protection law. They will not be sold or passed to third parties for commercial purposes without your prior agreement.
