Article 1 – Legal information and identification of the seller

Le Lamier sells aluminium safety razors and their accessories under the Le Lamier brand. The sale of the products offered on the site is subject to these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Article 2 – Scope
These terms apply to all sales of products made by Le Lamier to individual consumers (“the Customer”) through the website www.lelamier.com. They govern the entire process of ordering, payment, delivery and return of the products.
The Customer confirms having read and accepted these terms before confirming any order. Le Lamier may amend these terms at any time; the terms that apply are those in force on the date of the order.
Article 3 – Description of the products
Le Lamier mainly sells:
- The Le Lamier safety razor, a safety razor designed with a blade support system that reaches the edge of the head for greater safety, and an angle pre-set at 30° for an optimal shave.
- Compatible replacement blades, sold in packs (around €0.10 per blade), compatible with the vast majority of double-edge safety razors on the market.
- Any other shaving accessory offered on the site.
Product photographs and visuals are provided for illustration. Le Lamier undertakes that the products delivered match the descriptions given on the site.
Article 4 – Prices
Product prices are shown in euros (€) including all taxes for consumer Customers residing in the European Union.
Delivery costs are shown separately during the order process and are payable by the Customer, unless stated otherwise as part of a promotional offer. The total amount of the order, including delivery costs, is clearly shown before the order is finally confirmed.
Le Lamier reserves the right to change its prices at any time. However, products are invoiced on the basis of the prices in force when the order is confirmed.
Article 5 – Ordering process
5.1 – Steps of an order
The Customer selects the products of their choice and adds them to the cart. The order is completed in the following steps:
- Selecting products and adding them to the cart
- Checking the contents of the cart and the quantities
- Entering the delivery details
- Choosing the payment method
- Checking the order summary
- Confirming the order and accepting these terms
- Secure payment
The order is deemed firm and final once payment is confirmed. A confirmation email is sent to the Customer at the address provided.
5.2 – Changes and cancellation
An order can only be changed or cancelled after confirmation if it has not yet been dispatched. The Customer should contact Le Lamier as soon as possible at contact@lelamier.com.
Article 6 – Payment terms
Orders are paid for using the following payment methods:
- Bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Shopify Payments
- PayPal
Payment is secured by SSL encryption. Card payments are processed by Shopify Payments, a PCI-DSS certified provider. The Customer's banking details are not kept by Le Lamier. If payment is refused by the bank, the order is cancelled automatically.
An order is only processed once payment has actually been confirmed.
Article 7 – Delivery
7.1 – Delivery areas
Le Lamier delivers to mainland France, Corsica, the French overseas territories and internationally, in particular to Italy and the countries of the European Union. Available delivery areas and the corresponding prices are shown during the order process.
7.2 – Delivery times
Orders are dispatched within 1 to 3 working days of payment being confirmed. Estimated delivery times are then:
- Mainland France: 2 to 5 working days
- Europe (including Italy): 3 to 8 working days
- International: 5 to 15 working days
These times are indicative. Le Lamier cannot be held liable for delays caused by the carrier or by outside events (strikes, bad weather and so on).
7.3 – Receiving the order
On delivery, the Customer is asked to check the condition of the parcel and the products. If there is visible damage, the Customer must record reservations with the carrier and report the problem to Le Lamier within 48 hours at contact@lelamier.com.
Article 8 – Right of withdrawal
8.1 – Period and conditions
In accordance with articles L.221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 calendar days from receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without giving a reason and without penalty.
To exercise this right, the Customer must notify their decision to withdraw to Le Lamier by email at contact@lelamier.com before the above period expires.
8.2 – Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection. Accordingly:
- Packs of replacement blades that have been opened or unsealed cannot be withdrawn from.
- The Le Lamier razor can be returned if it has not been used and is sent back in its original, undamaged packaging.
8.3 – Return and refund
Products must be returned to the address given by Le Lamier in their original packaging, in perfect condition, with all their accessories. Return costs are payable by the Customer.
The refund is issued within 14 days of the returned products being received or of proof of dispatch, using the same payment method as the one used for the order.
Article 9 – Statutory guarantees
9.1 – Guarantee of conformity
In accordance with articles L.217-4 and following of the French Consumer Code, Le Lamier must deliver goods that conform to the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. The statutory guarantee of conformity applies for 2 years from delivery of the goods.
If the goods do not conform, the Customer may choose between repair or replacement. If repair and replacement both prove impossible, the Customer may return the goods and be refunded the price, or keep the goods and be refunded part of the price.
9.2 – Guarantee against hidden defects
In accordance with articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code, Le Lamier is liable for hidden defects in the goods sold that make them unfit for their intended use, or that so reduce that use that the buyer would not have acquired them had they known. The Customer may choose between a refund of the price or a reduction of the price.
9.3 – Le Lamier commercial guarantee – 100 days money back
In addition to the statutory guarantees, Le Lamier offers a 100-day commercial guarantee on the razor (aluminium body). If the Customer is not satisfied with their purchase for any reason, they may request a full refund within 100 days of the date their order was received.
To use this guarantee, the Customer should contact Le Lamier at contact@lelamier.com, quoting their order number. The refund is issued within 14 days of the request, using the same payment method as the one used for the order.
This commercial guarantee applies separately and without prejudice to the statutory guarantees described in articles 9.1 and 9.2.
Article 10 – Personal data protection (GDPR)
10.1 – Data collected
As part of online sales, Le Lamier collects the following personal data:
- Identity data: surname, first name
- Contact data: email address, telephone number, postal address
- Payment data (processed securely by our payment providers)
- Browsing data: IP address, cookies, pages viewed
10.2 – Purposes of processing
The personal data collected is used for the following purposes:
- Processing and following up orders
- Managing the customer relationship
- Sending transactional emails (order confirmation, delivery tracking)
- Sending marketing communications (with the Customer's consent)
- Improving the user experience on the site
- Meeting legal and accounting obligations
10.3 – Sharing of data
Personal data may be shared with:
- Our payment providers (for example Stripe, PayPal)
- Our carriers (La Poste, Colissimo and others)
- Our marketing tools (Meta/Facebook Ads, Google Ads) as part of targeted advertising
- Our analytics tools (Google Analytics)
Le Lamier never sells its customers' personal data to third parties.
10.4 – User rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Customer has the following rights:
- Right of access to their data
- Right to rectification
- Right to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”)
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing
- Right to restriction of processing
To exercise these rights, the Customer can send a request to: contact@lelamier.com. A reply is given within a maximum of 30 days.
10.5 – Cookies
The site www.lelamier.com uses cookies to improve the user experience, measure its audience and personalise advertising. The Customer can manage their cookie preferences through the consent banner shown on their first visit to the site.
Article 11 – Intellectual property
All the material on the site www.lelamier.com (text, images, logo, design, videos and so on) is protected by copyright and trade mark law. Le Lamier is a registered trade mark. Any reproduction, representation, modification or exploitation of this material without the express permission of Le Lamier is strictly prohibited and would constitute infringement.
Article 12 – Liability
Le Lamier undertakes to do everything possible to keep the site available and working properly. However, Le Lamier cannot be held liable for:
- An interruption or unavailability of the site
- Any indirect damage arising from use of the products
- Delivery delays caused by the carrier
- Misuse of the products by the Customer
Le Lamier's liability cannot exceed the amount of the order concerned.
Article 13 – Mediation and dispute resolution
In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to contact Le Lamier first at contact@lelamier.com in order to find an amicable solution.
In accordance with articles L.611-1 and following of the French Consumer Code, if a direct complaint fails, the Customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge. The Customer may submit their dispute through the European online dispute resolution platform at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Failing an amicable settlement, the competent French courts will hear the matter.
Article 14 – Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts alone have jurisdiction.
