Technical specifications

The Lamier

  • Material: Aluminium & Zamak
  • Finish: Micro-brushed matt
  • Total weight: 60 g (head: 33 g | handle: 27 g)
  • Handle length: 100 mm
  • Head type: Closed comb: blade angled at 30°
  • Blade exposure: Minimal: a gentle, safe shave
  • Assembly: 3-piece system
  • Compatibility: Universal standard DE blades

The Lamier was designed to offer a perfect balance of lightness, control and precision. Its 30° angle optimises shaving efficiency while limiting the risk of irritation, ideal for those new to traditional shaving.

The shaving brush

  • Bristles: Synthetic fibre
  • Handle: Anodised aluminium, finish matching the Lamier
  • Total height: 100 mm
  • Weight: 100 g
  • Colour: Silver or black
  • Care: Minimal: the fibre doesn't retain water

Designed for daily use. The synthetic fibre dries on its own and doesn't lose its shape, unlike natural hair, which requires regular care.

The travel case

  • Material: Full-grain cowhide leather
  • Finish: Smooth
  • Colour: Brown
  • Closure: No closure: slip-on case
  • Use: Protects the razor head when travelling

The stand

  • Material: Zamak
  • Height: 25 mm
  • Weight: 80 g
  • Hold: Built-in magnet
  • Base: Non-slip
  • Colour: Silver or black

Heavier than the razor, the stand keeps it perfectly upright: the head stays in the open air and dries between shaves.

The kit

  • Contents: The Lamier, the shaving brush, the travel case and the stand
  • Packaging: Gift box
  • Blades: Not included

How to use

Thanks to its cutting architecture and built-in angle, the Lamier is used instinctively: simply position it and the shave becomes smooth, precise and safe, even from the very first use.

Hold the Lamier parallel to your skin

Diagram of the Lamier parallel to the skin

Start your first stroke keeping the Lamier perfectly parallel to the skin. In this position, the blade isn't cutting yet: this lets you begin the movement safely while feeling the razor's controlled contact.

Find the contact point naturally

By tilting the Lamier slightly, the blade reaches the contact point, the angle at which it starts cutting the hair cleanly without ever harming the skin. Thanks to the 30° mechanical angle, this adjustment happens intuitively.

A better angle & better blade support

Lamier razor
Traditional safety razor
Traditional safety razor

Razors let their blades move and vibrate with every stroke, causing pulling, irritation and a loss of precision as they dull.

The Lamier, on the other hand, holds its blade perfectly rigid and stable, at an exact 30° angle: the ideal angle for the perfect shave.

Its blade, held with engineering precision, protrudes no more than a human hair: a millimetre-perfect balance that delivers a shave with no snags, no irritation, and absolute precision.

The best shaving solution of 2026.

A very good quality razor, it's easy to handle and you can apply a bit of pressure. Even going over my Adam's apple, where I often cut myself, was pleasant.

Lamier FAQ
Why is blade support essential?

For an effective shave, you need a blade that is rigid and perfectly controlled. Imagine cutting something with a knife that wobbles: the result would be poor. Shaving is no different.

Your skin is already soft. Combine it with flexible blades, as on multi-blade razors, and you increase pulling and micro-cuts.

What's the difference between the Lamier and a traditional safety razor?

Although it uses standard blades, the Lamier completely redefines the shaving experience thanks to three major innovations:

The angle perfectly set at 30°:
Unlike classic safety razors where you have to find the right angle yourself, the Lamier's head is designed to automatically position the blade at the ideal angle. Simply lay the razor flat against your face: the angle is already perfect.

Ultra-rigid blade support:
On a traditional razor, the blade can vibrate slightly during the stroke. The Lamier holds the blade as close to the edge as possible with extreme precision, which eliminates vibration, pulling and razor burn.

Optimised blade exposure:
We reduced the blade exposure to the strict minimum needed to cut the hair, not the skin. You get a precise, gentle and safe shave, even on sensitive areas.

The Lamier was designed for those who have never used a safety razor. Where classic models require real technique, this one is as intuitive as a disposable razor. Its anti-cut design makes it easy to handle straight away, with no learning curve.

Where can I find replacement blades?

The Lamier uses standard, non-proprietary DE blades. This means you can find them absolutely everywhere: in supermarkets, online, or at your barber's.

We also offer a pack of 100 Shapu blades, made from Swedish stainless steel, renowned for their premium quality and their ability to deliver a clean, gentle and long-lasting shave.

Can the Lamier be used on the head?

Yes, the Lamier is perfectly suited to head shaving. Its anti-cut design and optimised blade exposure allow for a clean, precise and safe shave.

The scalp often has denser hair and slightly firmer skin. The rigid blade support and the 30° angle make the Lamier perfectly effective in these conditions, with no pulling or irritation.

How long does a blade last on average?

On average, a standard DE blade gives you between 5 and 7 shaves. This can vary depending on how often you shave, the density of your hair and your personal sensitivity.

Some prefer to change the blade as soon as it loses a little smoothness, others keep it longer. The right time to replace it depends mainly on your shaving comfort.

Am I likely to cut myself?

The Lamier's unique design allows for gentle handling, with no irritation and no risk of cuts. It was specially designed to be easy to use, even for beginners.

With your purchase, a user guide is included free of charge so you can enjoy a precise shave from the very first use. And if you need it, we're here to advise and support you.
