A very good quality razor, it's easy to handle and you can apply a bit of pressure. Even going over my Adam's apple, where I often cut myself, was pleasant.

Can the Lamier be used on the head?

How long does a blade last on average?
On average, a standard DE blade gives you between 5 and 7 shaves. This can vary depending on how often you shave, the density of your hair and your personal sensitivity.
